Full Spectrum CBD vs Isolate - What is the difference

A “full-spectrum cannabinoid” refers to the plant extraction to oil, which includes all other properties or molecules of value in the marijuana plant. In other words, when the plant is extracted for oils, the properties and components that are part of that is still existent in its extracted form. The molecules of the “whole plant” remain intact in the processed extracted oil. In this extraction process, there is little to no loss of any of the other compounds that work in tandem with the CBD’s compromised or eliminated through the process, hence allowing for what is called the “full entourage effect,” which is derived from the whole plant extraction method.
On the other hand is the Isolate method. Oil, once extracted, is cooled until it forms crystals. The crystals are then processed into a powder. In this extraction method, the powder or “isolate” results in a single molecular compound of strictly CBD. There are no other molecular compounds of value found in the powder.  When CBD is in isolate form, it is separated from other cannabis compounds in the source plant. It was previously believed that CBD isolates were more potent and concentrated than full spectrum CBD, but researchers are now able to prove that spectrum CBD is capable of offering greater levels of relief, as higher doses were administered to mice. By comparison, the group that was given CBD isolate did not experience the same level of relief at higher doses.
To explain the difference between full Spectrum CBD oil vs Isolate in more simple terms...Image you are presented with two types chicken soup. The first bowl chicken soup was made of of organic chicken broth (CBD Isolate). The second chicken soup also was made with organic chicken broth but was more hardy with organic veggies, pasta noodles and chunks of chicken. (full spectrum CBD). Its clear that both bowls of chicken soup are soup - but the second recipe is more flavorful and interacts with one's taste buds differently.
